City Buffet

So I've been to the Grand buffet here in Boise and this one is by far better. Came for dinner and the food was so good and really clean.

Variety of food is decent and the staff is extremely friendly. Hibachi, sushi bar, and desserts are available too. These are not authentic dishes. Foods were prepared for the Asian-American taste buds. Price is fair. Their Nampa location is larger and have a wider selection. Still a great place to have a large family dine together!

Amazing food. Everything was awesome. With the exception of the egg drop soup. Just no flavor. Service was excellent. Great atmosphere. VERY clean! Oh, price was low as well for all you can eat! We definitely recommend!

The service was non-existant. But it usually is anyway, so it doesn't bother me.The lady at the front counter was really nice. And the food was great as always. Still my favorite place to eat. Only rating it 3 stars because of the service.I'd recommend eating here. The food is always fresh. Kind of a rare thing at buffets.

We went on a sat afternoon before the lunch rush. Most things were stocked. Several things like the teriyaki chicken & sugar donuts had become dry & hard. Everything was warm enuf. It was clean. The staff was prompt & attentive

Buffets aren't very good in general. This one is better than others though, because it's actually clean for the most part. Nice staff who check in quite a lot.

Outstanding!! If you like this kind of food this place is a ten out of 10! The staff are very friendly and very attentive and helpful. All the food was prepared very fresh, perfectly prepared and delicious. Of course I loved the chocolate fountain. You can't beat the dinner all you can eat buffet cost. If you've had a bad day ask for server Joanna. She is a delight and very pleasant.

The food is as you would expect with a Chinese buffet. It's not top tier, but it is definitely edible and there's a ton of it. The atmosphere is good and the service for drink refills was decent.

Great selection! Busy as can be, not perfectly clean.

It was my first time here after googling Chinese restaurants. Came with friends while visiting mutuals in ID. Overall it was a great experience. The food was great and my friends and I love Asian food; especially Chinese dishes. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the staff was very nice and friendly; was greeted right away. Definitely coming back when I visit ID again.

You cant go wrong eating here. There is something for everyone. Picky eaters or adventurous eaters are both to be pleased by their 4 large buffet islands. They also have a sushi bar, Mongolian style bar, desert bar, soft serve and hard ice cream too!If you love seafood this is the place to come.

Unfortunately for my weight, I like to eat here at least once a week. The women who tend your tables are awesome and I have her to meet one that wasn't super. I have been here a lot so I know what I like and the green beans are wonderful. A lot to choose from and reasonable in price.

Good service and a large selection on the buffet. It was our first time to City Buffet and really nice that the hot food was actually at a hot temperature.

Got seated quickly and service was good and friendly. I know Buffet food isn't supposed to be 5 star food but some of the food just tasted a bit bland and the smell of of the seafood area was bit bit overwhelming. But if you looking for a cheap buffet to bring your family too. This place to not a bad place to go

This place's quailty has declined over the years. Prices have become expensive and the quality and choices have gone down. Less healthier alternatives for people trying to watch their weight.

I don't like going to buffets very often because they are usually Messy, however City Buffet is CLEAN and TIDY, the food has wonderful flavors, and the service is top notch.

Sushi and Hibachi bar are good. The other food is typical Chinese buffet food options. Overall its a good place to eat.

Overall the place is awesome, the food is great🤩 Many options for you picky eaters, also if you don’t have time there’s to go boxes. I do both heh..this would always be my 1st place to go if I don’t have time to cook for my self! Customer service👍 They obviously seem to care ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really good chinese food for the money. usually don't go near chinese food buffets but I think this place shows their is an exception to every rule.

This place has such wonderful food I just couldn't stop eating. I had food here that I haven't eaten in over 45 years. It was great.

Okay. Nothing spectacular. We were there for lunch menu/pricing. Pretty good variety. My wife said Dim Sum tasted oldBut zucchini was good. They did have a stir fry counter available. Wait staff was attentive.
